Biography:

James O. Clifford, Sr. spent a forty year career in news service organizations - United Press International and Associated.  Press.  His awards include: the UPI Broadcast Excellence Award and the San Francisco Press Club's feature story award on the ethnic history of California. At the time Jim retired in 2000 he was AP's San Francisco Bay Area broadcast editor.   He and his family are long time residents of Redwood City.

Biography

Kimberly Connors, JD, began her career as a police officer with the San Jose Police Department in 1984. From 1984 to 1990 she worked patrol and narcotics enforcement. In 1990, she left the police department to attend Cornell Law School. In 1994 she joined the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office. In the past 14 years she has worked Narcotics, Family Support, General Felonies, Sexual Assault and Community Prosecution. In 2006, she was assigned to the Elder & Dependent Adult Financial Abuse Unit.
In 2001, she was one of twelve people selected as a White House Fellow. She took a one year leave of absence from the DA's office to work for Secretary Mel Martinez at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
